Is my data secure?
100% secure. All processing happens locally on your machine, right inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server, database, or cloud. Once you close the tab, the data disappears.
What does the app actually do?
It unpacks your PDF in memory, loops through every page to extract text, and isolates embedded images. It then recompresses those images and structures everything into a clean Markdown file that you can download as a ZIP archive.
Does this actually help?
Yes, it helps because we lower the tokens in two ways: we remove the PDF styles and formatting, and we can also lower the quality of the images to save more tokens down to the lowest point.
